The following changes were introduced in Client Update v3.1.431.0
  • FIXED: Entries with only registry data (no directory / file backups) always being flagged as modified or changed
  • FIXED: Backup Archives containing multiple game save entries sometimes failing validation checks
  • FIXED: Validation checks not being performed for registry backups
  • FIXED: Restore failing when directory is a NTFS Junction / Symbolic Link which has been broken (target missing)
  • FIXED: Windows Explorer throwing up a navigational errors due to GameSave Manager trying to follow broken links when the user double-clicks a path on Restore page
  • FIXED: 'Nightly' releases not correctly checking for program updates in certain circumstances
  • FIXED: Uninstall issue causing error dialogs to appear after the majority of application files have been removed from the system
  • FIXED: Update issue caused by UAC when updating the application (auto-update)
  • FIXED: Program crash when checking for alternative Steam Library locations and query fails (despite Steam being installed)
  • FIXED: Uninstaller now removes Scheduled Tasks and user settings
  • ADDED: New variable '%APPDATA_LOCALLOW%'; detects the 'LocalLow' directory (usually C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow)
  • ADDED: GameSave Manager can now 'read' an NTFS Junction's or Symbolic Link's target, fixing various bugs (see below)
  • ADDED: Option to force GameSave Manager to remove any broken links it finds during a restore task (under 'Task Options' of the Restore page)
  • NEW FEATURE: You can now specify an 'exclusion list' for individual Scheduled Tasks (when using the "Backup all detected saves" option)
