Making a backup

Got loads of gamesaves on your system?
What's going to happen to them if/when you format your drive or migrate to a newer computer?

Using GameSave Manager, you can quickly and effortlessly backup your gamesaves in just a few simple clicks.
  1. First of all, download and install the latest version of GameSave Manager (if you haven't already done so).
You may also wish to update the "Officially Supported Games" database. More information on this can be found here.

  2. From the 'Main Menu', click the 'Make a backup' link.

  3. GameSave Manager will present you with a full list of all the gamesaves it could detect on your system.
Go through the list and tick any gamesaves you want to include in this backup.

NOTE: Clicking onto an entry within the list will display all available information on it (what's going to backup, warning messages, etc).
  4. Finally, we can now start the backup.
Simply click the 'Start Task' button.
The task's progress will be shown via a log on-screen.

That's it!
You've successfully backed up your gamesaves.

Please be aware that the time it takes for a backup to complete depends on a number of factors, including your system's performance and how many gamesaves there are to backup.
